Just came across this trailer for the next DC DVD cartoon release, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. Now I’ve enjoyed the DC cartoons I have seen with for me Wonder Woman being the weakest but thats because I’ve nver really got her a character anyway. I am a fan of the DC multiverse stuff and the villain versions of Superman, Batman etc.

Sometimes it hard being romantic but I do think destroying half of all life just to prove your love can be a bit over the top. Well thats what Thanos wants to do in the Marvel comics series Infinity Gauntlet.

Well here is some packaging pics from Art Asylum’s boxset of Minimates based on this series. This boxset  features Thanos, Drax The Destroyer, Adam Warlock and Mephisto. This is the first time that 3 of these for figures will be minimated and Thanos was only available as an AFX  exclusive back in 2005.

Marvel Superhero Squad Cartoon Viewable Online

•22/10/2009 • 1 Comment

Superhero Squad

A few months I posted up a little trailer for a Superhero Squad cartoon airing on Cartoon Network. Now I live in in the UK and wasn’t expecting to see this anytime soon but thats not the fact.

Marvel themselves are making the cartoon viewable online. I’m not sure if there is a delay or whatever from the TV airing but upto now there are 8 episodes you can watch. Now the animation style is aimed squarely at younger children but that being said if you like superhero cartoons you should enjoy this. The character team interaction is actually quite sarcastic and funny at times and there is alot of guest heroes and villains appearing I would say some for the first time in a cartoon.

Ok I have gone on enough I’m sure you just want to know where you can see the cartoons well they can be found HERE So make yourselves comfy and enjoy.

Ghostbuster_Minimates__Series 3

A Diamond Select Release! Art Asylum Designs & Sculpts! The top-selling Ghostbusters Minimate line continues with this exclusive set only available in specialty stores! This four-pack includes the marshmallow-covered Gooey Egon and Gooey Winston from the original film as well as the sequel’s Janine Melnitz and EPA lawyer Walter Peck! Each Ghostbusters Minimate stands two inches tall with 14 points of articulation and a wealth of pint-sized accessories.

Thanks to Toy News International for this great news

Good to see a new boxset for Ghostbusters. The lawyer dude looks a bit bland and I still hold out hope for a GB2 Vigo minimate.

Thanks to Multiverser Jboogie for this one. He pointed me in the right direction for some real nice Minimate photoshopery by a guy called Eddie-Lee. Looking through Eddie’s Deviantart stuff you can see he is a real good artist and is also a minimate fan. So here is a LINK straight to his minimate stuff but do check out his other art as well.
